Okay...I finally went private BUT I decided to keep this blog up so that our dear followers (I am flattering myself) can leave email addresses still if they would like to view our private blog. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Ours turned out wonderful, a little crazy with the schedule but it was great. Hannah really loves her new toys and Shiloh and I got pretty spoiled ourselves. I will post everything in about a week, but for now we are off to Island Park for 8 days. I am really excited.

Also, I need some help making my blog private. I came across a really weird comment on my blog and it just makes me nervous because I can't stand the thought of some weirdo out there looking at my family through pictures. So if anyone can give me some expert advise on how to go private that would be wonderful.

Well, I did it. I went blonde. I am not really sure what to think right now but I can tell you one thing. Shiloh is definitely loving the fact that he is married to a blonde. It is actually pretty cute but it will take some getting used too. Definitely the most dramatic change I have done so far. Pictures will come as soon as I figure out how to get them off of my phone :). Anyways, Christmas is almost here and I am so excited. This year seems a little different for some reason. I am feeling like a little kid all over again and can't help but get giddy at the thought of Christmas morning. Mainly because I am so excited to see Hannah and Shiloh open up their gifts. Well, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas.

Okay...I need your opinions because I am having a "mid life crisis" so to speak... and have been changing my hair color every other month but I am not in LOVE with anything yet. I have an appointment to get my hair stripped and then put a nice golden blonde tint to it but it will probably end up being very light. I am nervous. A couple months ago I went a dark auburn color that isn't bad I just don't think it does the best for me. So please let me know what you think because I value my friends opinions very much. I am to wishy washy to make this decision on my own. So PLEASE be honest in your opinion. THANK YOU! Hannah LOVES The Little Mermaid. She Loves all the songs and loves to belt them out whenever she hears them. She has got quite the voice and one of these days I will have to record the moves that go with it. I love the free entertainment she provides for me.

We have had fun these past couple of months and to tell you everything we have done would take FOREVER so here are a few of pictures of a couple of our fun events. Most of them are of Hannah. Sorry...we like her a little to much and so does the camera.

I love this picture because it completely described our Hannah. She has to have everything in the right place and she loves patterns. I find these little rows of anything and everything lined up all over our house. I think it is so funny.

Shiloh is now the Elders Quorum President and they had a party a little over a month ago, it was really fun. We shot guns and had a great dutch oven dinner.

I grew a garden this summer and everything pretty much died BUT I did grow some pretty delicious carrots. I am proud.

We went camping this fall up at Scout Mountain and it was really fun. It was just Shiloh, Hannah and I and we didn't really do much. We had dinner, roasted marshmallows and then crawled into our tent and played a fun game of scrabble. I think I won :) We got up the next morning and took a little hike/walk. It was one of those wonderfully simple moments. I love those.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a blast. It is always fun to just get together with our families and talk. I love the holidays. It is nice to reflect on the past year and the accomplishments we have made and all the many things we have been blessed with. We are so grateful for wonderful families who take care of us. I am grateful for an incredible husband who is willing to go above and beyond to make our lives wonderful. I am grateful for a daughter who loves me. She is so sweet and loves to be a girl. I never had sisters so to have someone love to do makeup with me and play dress up and to play with my hair...that is priceless. I LOVE IT! Even though we don't have a house yet...I am grateful that we have a wonderful "shed" that we like to call our home. It is our shelter from the rest of the world. We spend a lot of time at home and we love it. Anyways, I hope we can all count our many blessings, if you do I am sure you will find you have been blessed beyond measure and have much to be grateful for this Holiday season.

Heavenly Birthday

A year ago on this day I gave birth to a Beautiful and PERFECT little boy. I wasn't sure if I should post anything today, it is a really personal day, but I have learned so much this past year that I couldn't pass up the opportunity to talk about a very special person. Cameron was our first little boy and we couldn't have been more excited to have him. I couldn't understand completely why things worked out the way they did and to be honest I still don't know. But I do know that he was chosen to come to our family for a reason. Maybe we could handle it better or needed that test of our faith...who knows. He definitely has made our family stronger and we rely on the Lord SOOOO much more. Anyways, little did I know that while we were struggling with the loss of our boy that another wonderful woman named Becky was going through the same thing. These little boys were needed that day I guess. Becky you have been in my thoughts and prayers constantly and I am so grateful for your little words of encouragement, they have gotten me through so many of the hard times.I truly believe that these little boys and girls that come to this world and leave so quickly are part of a great army in Heaven. I am sure we have all noticed how corrupt and evil this world is becoming. Living in Idaho, I am sheltered from a lot but I am not blind, I can see very clearly the warning signs of our Heavenly Father. I am not, and have never, thought of our Cam as a little baby...I think of a strong stripling warrior working hard to prepare us and help us get back to our Father in Heaven. So for everyone who has lost anyone, especially those have lost a baby, They may have gone to soon for our liking, but we will see them again someday, and we should be so proud of the hard work they are putting forth in Heaven. Sorry this is so mushy, I always seem to post these and I am sorry if they are a little depressing, but I hope nobody thinks that. Megs, I am so sorry that you had to go through this trying time but I think your little "bean":) and Cameron are joining forces to fight against evil. I promise the next post will be full of pictures and fun things.

Just Rambling, A LOT

I think that life is starting to catch up with me. The reality of growing up is something that I put on the back burner because I am still very young but believe it or not we are growing up, and I can't avoid it. With Shiloh graduated we are sort of forced to start a new chapter in our lives. I am very grateful that he is finished but then the burden of trying to figure out what to do hits pretty hard. As for me, I can't be anything but grateful for the blessing of my wonderful family, but I can't help but notice a huge void in our lives. I am constantly looking around for that 4th person in our family. I love it, but hate it so much. I get a little nervous for my sons first birthday. It tears me apart not being able to know him, but I absolutely love the fact that I KNOW I will get to see him someday and I will have eternity to get to see him. Although we don't get to have him here physically I feel him in my life constantly. In fact, last night when we were praying, I prayed that Cameron might be a little guardian angel over Hannah and just help her to know that he is there and he loves her. I never thought of that before, He loves his sister and I know she knows him to an extent. Then it hit me, if he loves his sister he has got to love his mommy and daddy. It was absolutely overwhelming and I just bawled. Anyways,sorry for the rambling this tends to be my other journal. I just have been having one of those months...you know...those emotionally months, I am sure we have all had them. It is also a very grateful month. Even though life isn't going the way we planned, I think both Shiloh and I have felt the comfort and love of our Heavenly Father so strongly. On a side note, I have a cute daughter. She is so sweet and very mothering. As we speak she noticed that I was crying and came up on the couch, wiped my tears and because of my sniffling, of course checked for boogies in momma's nose. (She copies me way to much) What a blessing. I am pretty sure that is my other melt down lately, my baby is growing up and is definitely turning into a toddler, 2 going on 12. Well we have had a great month so I will post some pictures of of adventures soon. Again, sorry for the rambling, but if you got this far, THANKS FOR LISTENING!

Wow, it has been way to long since our last post. You know you have waited to long to update when people start asking if you have taken down your blog. OOPS!! I have just gotten so far behind that it is hard to know where to start. So many things have happened in the last little while. After our last post Shiloh graduated with his bachelors degree. We are really excited that he doesn't have to go back to school, unless he decides he wants his masters, but I am pretty sure either way he needs a break and so do I. We have been having so much fun this summer. We have gone to Island Park quite a few times and we also went to Jackson Hole with my family. Shilohs family had a HUGE family reunion in July. It was a ton of fun. We ran in the Pioneer Day Fun Run (5K). I am not a runner so that we a challenge for me but it was surprisingly really fun. That is just prepping Shiloh and I for our 10k in September, wish us (me) luck. We have gone to Lagoon and Ross Park and have had a blast. It is sad to see that the summer is almost over. I about had a heart attack thinking that this last trip to Island Park might have been the last trip with the boat. It is just not fair.
Anyways, Hannah celebrated her 2nd birthday. I can't believe my baby is already two years old. Time is flyin. So much more has happened but I think pictures will say it better than me.

Our Spring Break

Well this is a little late but I thought I would share some picutres of our spring break. We went on a 4 day 5 night cruise to Catalina Island and Ensendada, Mexico. It was really fun. We left Hannah with our parents so we could relax and take a small break from her demands. It was a lot of fun. We hope we can go again, but maybe take a 7-14 day cruise and somewhere a little more tropical. Little time and little money

When we bought our first house, the previous owner left a big freezer in the garage. It was full of mold and rust but could be cleaned out pretty easy. And for the past 3 years I have put off cleaning it. It has come with us to our new home and still hasnt been cleaned. So today I decided I was going to tackle this thing because I need more freezer space. I put on the ugliest clothes I could find, latex gloves, and a face mask and went to work. It took me a total of about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get this thing cleaned and another 30 minutes to paint. Not long at all and only cost about $8.00. I hate when I put off things like this for so long, when I know that it won't take me very long to do it. It is just pure laziness and complete lack of motivation. Moral of this story...if you have been putting off ANYTHING for ANY reason, JUST DO IT!!!

This is the after scrubbing and scrapping off old paint and all the gross stuff. It doesn't look very clean, but at this point, it smelt like bleach and soap, trust me it was clean just very dinged up.

And here is the finished product. Pretty good huh! I was surprised at how well it cleaned up.

Donkey Basketball

Well, I was talking to my cousin Megan the other day and she got on me about how I don't post enough. Like I have said before, I just like looking at other peoples blogs. It is completely addicting. But, our lives just aren't that interesting right now, so there is not a lot to blog about. However, tonight we watched donkey basketball at the university. Shiloh is in the marketing association and they entered as a group. So I got the pleasure of watching Shiloh ride a donkey. I had never heard of it before but it was really fun. I was actually pretty jealous because I wanted to be out there with them. The announcer thought he was pretty funny, he kept throwing little comments in like, "players, get off your butts and go sit on your "ass"! I have to admit it was pretty funny. Well as soon as I can figure out how to put our video on here I will, but in the meantime here are a few pictures of our night.

A couple weeks ago we decided to take Hannah bowling for the first time and it was so much fun. We were the only ones in the bowling alley and Hannah was having a ton of fun just running around. After we went bowling Hannah, Shiloh and my dad and brothers went hot tubbing and of course Hannah loved that too.

Well this Christmas was really fun but it definitely felt different this year. This year has been a really fun but challenging year. As hard as it was, it was probably the best year of my life so far and I am sure Shiloh would say the same. We celebrated Hannah's first birthday, she had a whole bunch of firsts this year. Shiloh got in a car accident at the beginning of the year. We got pregnant with Cameron this year. We went to Cancun, Mexico,and we went to Island Park A TON. I took a trip with my mom and Hannah to Washington to visit family. Shiloh finished two more semesters of school and only has one left, HURRAY!!! We were sent our little Cameron and were lucky enough to have our Heavenly Father take him in his arms once again. You know, I got to tell you, the older Hannah gets I really thank Heavenly Father for taking him now so if I fail as a mother, we at least got one back to him :) Also, Shiloh's brother Nate left on his mission on New Years Eve, he is going to Brisbane, Australia...that lucky son of a gun. To sum it up, this year has been pretty darn good. I truly can't complain about anything, other than I now have a really ugly scar on my belly, but it is just another reminder of my many blessings. I would like to thank anyone who is reading this blog, we are so blessed to have such great friends and families. I am really excited to see what the year 2009 will bring...I am hoping it will bring a new home, a new baby, stronger testimonies, less complaining (from me), less crying (from Hannah... and me sometimes)lots of family outings, healthier eating habits, cleaner home and lots and lots of love.

I am sorry for all those who are reading this...but I would have to say that I have the best husband there ever was and ever will be. I am very sorry to break the news to you, but it is true. Shiloh Armstrong is wonderful. That sums it up. Shiloh has been so amazing throughout this whole thing. I don't think he has thought about himself once. Really, not even ONCE. He has been right by my side and let me cry as much as I want and he still loves me. I think my love for him has grown so so so so much. He works so hard at school and work and still finds time for Hannah and I. I really don't know how he does it, it amazes me. He is such a good dad to Hannah and I think Cameron is thrilled to know what kind of a daddy he got, THE BEST KIND!!!! I just felt very inspired to write this because I have been feeling very blessed for my wonderful family. Well once again, I am sorry for being the one to have to tell you that Shiloh is in fact the best. You don't have to tell your husbands, you actually probably shouldn't. We won't shatter their dreams quite yet!!

I can't tell you how thankful we are to have such wonderful families and friends. We have learned that there are so many wonderful people in the world and we are so lucky to have so many of them so close to us. This past week has been the absolute hardest week of my life, and I hope it stays that way, I truly don't think I could handle any trial that is harder than this. This past week has also been one of the best weeks of my life, this week I was given the greatest gift, my little baby boy. I really don't know how we were chosen to be given such a pure and perfect baby boy, so pure that he couldn't stay here with us. As much as we want him here, we know that Heavenly Father is taking care of him now. I have this picture in my head of Cameron all dressed up in a suit (as a little toddler) and being our heavenly missionary. Maybe he is trying to tell me something, I am not really sure, but I haven't been able to get that vision out of my head. Things have gotten better, and our hearts are already beginning to heal. Although I don't believe that the heartache will ever completely go away, I think in time, it will turn into a happy memory. I have one more thing driving me to be the best I can possibly be.

Sorry about the rambling but I have to tell you an experience I had with Cameron when we were in the hospital. When they brought Cameron to me I was so sad but there was something so calming and peaceful about the time I had with him. Not once did it feel like I was holding a lifeless body, he was there. I didn't see the the physical imperfections at all. I was holding the most beautiful baby boy I had ever seen. When I went home, I looked at the pictures and noticed all the sores on his body and I honestly couldn't remember seeing them that day. I was so nervous to see his little body again, I was afraid to see what I had been shielded from in the hospital. When I finally saw him in the funeral home, there he was again, PERFECT in every way, and once again HE WAS THERE!!!! I know that he will never leave. Heavenly Father allowed me to hold my perfect baby and I am eternally grateful for that.

Anyways, Shiloh and I just want to thank EVERYONE for being so kind and thoughtful. We are extremely lucky. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

I know that Heidi is the one that always updates this blog, but she is currently in the hospital so it is my turn to tell Cameron's story. I think this is also a way for me to get a few more emotions out. Cameron Michael Armstrong was born at 12:27 today. He was born with a very faint heart beat, and the doctors tried everything to bring him back to life. After about 10 minutes our wonderful doctor, doctor Burton came out to give me the news that Cameron had passed away (Heidi was still in recovery and didn't know). As I began to cry the first thing that came into my head was that he had come and gotten his body but it was time for him to go back and continue helping out on the other side. It was like a nightmare that had become a reality, but in a sense it was a good nightmare. Our baby boy had returned perfect back to our father in heaven. It is difficult for both of us at the moment, we are still wiping away tears every time we think of not being able to bring him home, or watch him grow. It makes me weep to know that I won't get the chance right now to teach him how to throw a ball, or wrestle with his sister. It is hard I won't lie, but I want everyone to know that we are OK. We have the gospel and we know that we will be with Cameron in the near future. I don't know how anyone could get through this without the knowledge of eternal families! We are at peace with the situation, and know that we now have a special guardian angel watching over our family. I want you to especially keep Heidi in your prayers, because I know that it will be even more difficult for her. We want to thank everyone for their prayers and let each of you know that everyone's prayers were answered. Sometimes they just come in ways unexpected. Our prayers were answered by an angel.

This past month has been quite a whirlwind month. We have been in and out of the doctors office and already have had 4 ultrasounds. When we went in to get the ultrasound to see if the baby was a boy or girl, they were unable to see his stomach... so they asked us to come back in a few weeks and try again, we did and unfortunately we had no luck. My doctor set up an appointment with an perinatologist so they could take a more thorough look. Well like the times before, they there weren't any signs of his stomach. They call this kind of thing esophageal atresia :Congenital esophageal atresia (EA) represents a failure of the esophagus to develop as a continuous passage. Instead, it ends as a blind pouch. Tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) represents an abnormal opening between the trachea and esophagus. EA and TEF can occur separately or together. EA and TEF are diagnosed in the ICU at birth and treated immediately.
We are still not sure of the extent of it and really won't know until he is born. They have asked us to live in Salt Lake for the last month of my pregnancy and deliver there too. I don't think I would normally post about this yet, but we would love it if you would keep our baby boy in your prayers. I believe the larger the army the more the miracle. We will keep you posted on whats happening. We have a meeting with the surgeons who will be operating on him and they should let us know how everything works and how they are going to go about all of this.
I think through all of this, we will walk away so much stronger and have much stronger testimonies. I know this isn't a testimony blog, but I would just like to say that I am so grateful to know that families are forever and eternal. I don't think I would be able to handle this situation if I didn't know that. My family means everything to me and I can't believe our family of three will soon be a family of four. I definitely know that Heavenly Father hears our prayers and he knows the sincere and righteous desires of our hearts and is just waiting for us to ask for those blessings he has in store for us. So please please please, keep him in your prayers.

Washington

Hannah and I went to Washington with my mom this past week and had such a fun time. I really missed Shiloh but absence makes the heart grow fonder right? We went shopping and just had fun visiting with my Grandma and some of my Aunts, Uncles and cousins who live there. It was beautiful. It is always fun to spend time with my mom, I am very grateful for her and I love her so much. Hannah learned to swear while we were gone. She now says " oh sheet and beech" sorry if that offends anyone, but I think it is so funny. Don't ask me where she picked up the potty mouth because I sure don't say those things and I am pretty sure Shiloh doesn't either. Anyways, she is growing and getting so big and I am loving almost every minute of it. I could do without the temper tantrums but I guess we have to take the good with the bad.

We just got the ultrasound done today and it was very clear this baby is a boy. He wouldn't stop putting his hands in front of his face so we didn't get the best 3-D picture but thats ok, they are still fun to look at. We are very excited and Shiloh gets at least one wrestler so that should please him.

Everyone is asking when and if I am going to find out what the baby is... my answer is yes I am most definitely going to find out, and I am not sure when. Since we are poor people we are waiting for the money to do it since we have pretty lame insurance. Hopefully it will be just a few more weeks. I will be sure to let everyone know. I personally think that it is a boy just because these pregnancies have to so extremely different. We will see I guess.

A Trip to the Zoo!!!

We went to the Pocatello Zoo the other day and although the zoo is small and there is not much to see, I think Hannah enjoyed it. I love being a mom because even if I am not having fun myself, I get a ton of satisfaction when I see that Hannah is having fun, it makes everything worth it!!!

My little brother Josh left on his mission June 11th. I felt like he was dying, it was way to hard to say goodbye. He has always been such an example to the family and he a great friend. I am excited to hear from him and hear his stories. He left the MTC yesterday morning so hopefully he will really start to feel like a missionary. We are proud and excited and hopefully he is too!!!!

My Best Friend's Wedding

My best friend Rachelle got married this past month. She looked so beautiful and she married a great guy, Michael Tucker. I was so excited to see her get married in the temple. It is always a wonderful experience to be able to be in the sealing room and watch the people you love become eternal companions.

Well, I got an ultrasound done today and I guessed right. The exact due date is January 5th, but I wouldn't mind being a couple weeks early :). In my head I was hoping to be miraculously 4-5 months along already, but I am not that lucky.

For anyone who doesn't know... Shiloh and I are expecting another baby. This was one mothers day I won't soon forget. It came as somewhat a surprise to us. Despite what some people may say, you CAN get pregnant while nursing. We found that one out the hard way. I am so excited though, how could I not be. I don't know the exact due date but we are thinking the first week in January. Shannon, I am sorry for copying your little baby thing, but I think that is just the neatest thing. By the way, you are a cute pregnant lady :) Well, we will find out exactly how far along I am on the 20th so I will correct my date then.

Sometimes Shiloh and I get so caught up in work and school and being parents that we forget to appreciate eachother. So, just so everybody knows, I LOVE MY HUSBAND VERY MUCH!!!. He is so wonderful and so kind and works unbelievably hard. I give him so much grief sometimes but I sure hope he knows how much I appreciate all he does.
The other day Shiloh was playing his playstation, I turned around there was my Hannah, on the floor with a controller in her hand, sitting by her daddy. So cute!!! He absolutely loves being a dad.

For anyone who looks at our blog, I am truly sorry. I am still trying to figure this whole thing out and I promise that someday I will. I have had a few comments about Hannah being naked in every picture and I can explain. I promise I do try, she is just to stubborn. She is at the age where she would definately prefer being naked.

Anyway, Hannah found the stairs the other day. Lucky me!!! She saw them and I thought "oh Shiloh look, Hannah is eying the stairs, how funny". No, it's not so funny anymore. She is nothing but trouble. She is learning so fast and I just can't seem to keep up with her. Meghan, I can't believe that Crew has been walking for so long and he isn't even 1 yet. I can somewhat empathize with you. Oh by the way, I just barely figured out that I could look at the comments on my blog (Like I said, I still don't know what I am doing on this thing) and I saw yours and I promise I didn't leave you out on purpose, so I hope you like the new addition to my Friends and Family link.

IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE

It seems like just yesterday that she came into this world. She was so peaceful and sweet and made me feel like I was needed. Well almost 9 months later she is "full of life" (nice way of putting it), already developing an attitude and I am no longer needed, I am used. Where did the time go. It is amazing to see the changes and developments in babies within just a few months, it is incredible. Hannah is so much fun these days and I love her just the way she is, I just wish I would have enjoyed the the quiet moments I had while she was tiny, I didn't realize how stinkin fast they grow up. It's not fair.

SURGERY DAY 2/20/2008

Hannah had her little surgery on Wednesday. She got a cyst removed from her eyebrow. She did a really good job for not being able to eat for 11 hours. When they brought her back after the surgery she was very disoriented from the medications, it was hilarious to watch her. She would smile and then her legs would give out. She made a new friend, the MALE nurse :-)

ISLAND PARK TRIP

We went to Island Park the weekend after Christmas and it was so beautiful. There was so much snow!!! Hannah didn't know what to think of the cold and snow but she is tough.
